Environments ​

Environments represent logical environments for software applications. Providers are connected to each environment to indicate how to authenticate and where to provision infrastructure.

A typical pipeline consists of 3 environments: dev, staging, and prod. Each environment belongs to a Stack. Within the stack, the environment has a pipeline order serving as a promotional pipeline for infrastructure.
